Vehicle Collisions

 

• There are four main types of vehicle collisions:-

  1) Head-on collision - high mortality

  2) Rear-end collision - associated with whip lash / neck injuries

  3) T-bone / Broadside collision

  4) The 'rollover' - high risk of entrapment

• Any one , or combination of collisions can occur
• These are important to identify at the scene as they provide useful insights into the possible mechanisms and severity of injuries, and the methods required for rescue
